Lenox Special Borescopes

Lenox has the capacity to build a variety of special and custom borescopes. Some have become part of our standard line of products. These are the Chamberscope and the Autoscope.

Chamberscope - Internal Engine Inspection System

The Lenox Chamberscope is an internal engine inspection system that fits most internal combustion engines. It assures a rapid, but completely detailed inspection of all internal combustion engines.

Specifically designed to inspect the largest engines, the Chamberscope is also ideal for inspection of any other internal combustion engine. It is used by operators of diesel, pipeline compressor and aircraft engines.

The combination of high magnification with its ultra high intensity illumination produces a bright close-up image with a resolution that is more than twice that of any other flexible, fiberoptic instrument. This high level of performance is essential for any critical application.

Autoscope

Regular maintenance inspection of an aircraft engine with the Autoscope

The Autoscope is an easy to use, portable, inexpensive, battery powered optical diagnosis instrument that views, magnifies and illuminates hard to reach areas.

Autoscope General Specifications:

• Outer Diameters: 6 & 8mm (5/16")
• Working Lengths: 23cm (9") or 38.1cm (15")

The Autoscope kit includes:

• Autoscope: A side viewing borescope with an 8mm (15/16") diameter and 23cm (9") or 38.1cm (15") working length
• Battery Handle: Heavy duty metal, holds three (3) "C" cells; variable intensity rheostat controls Autoscope lamp output; connects to Autoscope directly or by means of extension cord
• Extension Cord: 1.98 meters (6-1/2") long cord allows battery handle to be placed in pocket while using autoscope
• Case: Plastic foam lined case holds all components
