Fully adjustable, regulated
'pulsed' output of up to 20kV, 40kV or 60kV. All pulse models
can be used for porosity and holiday testing of carbon impregnated
coatings such as carbonated rubber, thick coatings such as
rubber linings and on ‘plastic’/fiberglass type coatings likely
to become electrostatically charged.
The Pulse 20kV & 40kV models are ideal for use in moist
conditions, on wet and contaminated coating surfaces.
The Pulse 60kV model is the only portable battery operated
model on the market capable of generating voltages from 10,000
to 60,000 volts.
Continuous LED digital display of applied voltage and low
battery condition indicator. Overcharge protection. Constant
test current.
Complies with the requirements AS3894.1-2002 and NACE Standards
TM0186-94, TM0384-94, RP0490-2001, RP0274-98 and RP0188-99. |

The P20, P40 and P60 Pulse Porosity Detectors are sold
in Industrial or Pipeline kits.
- Industrial Kit comprises: Detector
(P20, P40 or P60) with clip-on power pack, mini-crest meter, 10
hr charger, probe handle with neon and 79-inch (2 m) long lead,
60 mm connector for flat brushes, 23-foot (7 m) long Earth lead
with clamp, fan brush, 250 mm flat brass wire brush, 450 mm probe
extension, air-operated earphones, shoulder and waist harness,
carrying case and operating instructions.
- Pipeline Kit comprises: Detector
(P20 or P40) with clip-on power pack, mini-crest meter, spare
clip-on power pack, 10-hr charger, probe handle with neon and
79" (2 m) long lead, 23-foot (7 m) long Earth lead with clamp,
fan brush, coil joiner with 450 mm connector, air-operated earphones,
shoulder and waist harness, carrying case and operating instructions.
- Optional accessories: Internal
