Thermo-Hunter Portable Non-Contact Thermometers by Optex
All objects emit infrared energy from its surface.
The hotter the object is,
the more active its molecules are, and the more infrared energy it emits.
The Optex Thermo-Hunter Hand-Held Infrared Thermometers house optics
that collect the radiant infrared energy from the object and focus it onto
a detector. The detector converts the amount of infrared energy into an
electrical signal, which is amplified and displayed. Because the method
is non-contact, it enables quick and easy measurement of the target
temperature from a safe distance.
